As a medical practice, it is important that we continue to operate as safely as possible and with as minimal disruption to our patients. We are currently following all advice from the NSW Government. What this means we are a registered COVID Safe Business with a COVID-19 Safety Plan to support the health and wellbeing of our patients and staff members.
In line with our standard infection control policy, we are adhering to the following:
- COVID testing for ALL adults and children 3 months of age & older, 48hrs prior to attending face to face consultations or overnight sleep studies
- Compulsory* masks for everyone over 12 years of age
- Check in via NSW Government QR code
- ONE parent/carer per child restrictions to adhere to the 4sqm rule
- Increasing Telehealth (phone or video) Consultations
- Health checks prior to Face to Face appointments and Overnight Sleep Studies
- Facilities for hand washing/ sanitising
- Removal of any non essential items
- Social distancing measures
- Frequent wiping and disinfecting
- End of day deep cleaning
* The public health order includes a number of exemptions.
- Children aged 12 or under.
- People who have a physical or mental health illness or condition, or disability, that makes wearing a mask unsuitable including, for example, a skin condition, an intellectual disability, Autism or trauma.
- A person may remove their mask if they are:
- eating or drinking
- communicating with another person who is deaf or hard of hearing
- at work and the nature of the work makes the wearing of fitted face covering a risk to the person's, or another persons' health and safety, or means clear enunciation or visibility of your mouth is essential
- asked to remove their mask for identity purposes
