Fees

Our fees reflect the high-quality care provided by our expert team. Consultation and sleep study costs vary based on the service. Medicare rebates may apply for eligible patients. We strive for transparency and will discuss all fees upfront. Please contact us for detailed pricing and rebate information.

The Sleep Cottage is a private specialist clinic.  Our fees are aligned with the AMA recommended rates for specialist consultations and are set at the discretion of your treating clinician.  We believe it is important for you to know, in advance, how much you will have to pay when you attend an appointment.

Our sleep studies and consultation fees are eligible for Medicare rebates.

Please contact our reception team if you wish to enquire about fees and any out-of-pocket costs associated with your visit.

The Sleep Cottage is committed to supporting our families by sending SMS reminders for appointments. However, we kindly ask that you take note of your appointment date and time at the time of booking, as it remains your responsibility to manage your schedule. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us in advance to reschedule.

Late Cancellation and Failure to attend

Appointments: a cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less that 48 hours before the appointment time. Failure to attend is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, you will be charged a fee.

Sleep Studies: a cancellation is considered late when a sleep study is cancelled less that 72 hours before the sleep study. Failure to attend is when a patient misses the overnight sleep study without cancelling.

There are Medicare rebates available for specialist medical consultations through Medicare, if a valid referral is provided. Your rebate will be processed at the time of payment and usually takes 24-48 hours to be deposited into your nominated bank account. A consultation without a medical referral is available, but are no for rebates.

Results must be discussed in consult with the referring paediatric specialist before being released.
